For the Capacitor Discharge Stud Welder, MIDWEST supplies six (6) standard systems.

SureShot, Talon, Eagle, CD80, CD100 and CD700 Systems; all 110volt, single-phase units fully outfitted for contact capacitor discharge weld capability of various diameters and materials.

The weld base capabilities range from 1/8" diameter to a full 3/8" weld capacity. Materials welded in the Capacitor Discharge mode are Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and other alloys.

The Capacitor Discharge stud weld is characterized by attaching a weld stud to thin gauge material, without concern for burn-through or backside marking, while maximizing holding power and weld quality.
