ARC WELD STUDS: BENT ARC FASTENERS - NO THREAD

The Bent No Thread Weld Stud is a plain shank arc stud with a bend in the body of the weld stud and is designed for application with arc stud welding equipment. Sometimes characterized as a “bent pin”, this type of stud welded fastener is usually flux-loaded on the weld end for studwelding applications. Available in low carbon steel, stainless steel and Aluminum as standards, other special materials and grades are available. The no thread style is characterized by a stud body without threading the full length of the weld stud. Studwelding of the bent pin burns off a portion of the base so that the pre-weld, post-weld length dimension should be considered. All orders for arc weld studs from Midwest Fasteners include ceramic studwelding ferrules properly sized for the weld stud ordered.
