SOLID STATE, SINGLE PHASE STUD WELDING MACHINE

The UA500 arc stud welding system, manufactured by MIDWEST Fasteners, is a single-phase stud welder capable of applying weld studs up to ½” in diameter. Working in Mild Steel, Stainless and other weldable metals, this stud system features variable buss VAC power input to a portable studwelding controller and a standard stud gun with cables. Useful in all types of metal fabrication, refractory and insulation installation, plus numerous other stud welding applications, the flexible power requirement makes this an ideal field stud welder for mobile applications or to work around any metalworking shop.
